Makar
Samkranti: A Festival for all
Jan
13 The period covering the northward journey of the sun
called Uttarayana i.e Northward passage & consists of Winter,
spring & summer seasons. It is the period from winter solstice
to summer solstice. The period starts from Sun’s entry into
the Capricorn sign called Makar Samkranti. This is celebrated
as a festival in India by all irrespective of their cultural and
regional background. Its Makar Samkranti in North and Pongal in
South. People take holy dip in sacred river throughout the country.
Solar
intensity available here onwards coincide heightened efforts even
in terms of economy for all to reach their respective targets
by the financial year closing.
It implies the preparation for the new budget in March when the
sun enters Aries Sign this tar on April 13. All Indian festivals
have Synergy with the nature & the movement of planets to
derive the maximum involvement of people in their daily spiritual
and religious life. The Hindus avoid auspicious celebration during
the Sun’s transit into the signs Sagittarius and Pisces
when luminaries do not give maximum energy to the. This is the
time to start auspicious celebrations like marriage or to start
looking for a suitable match for your child. Nature has to keep
its balance & when man tries to destroy this balance by destroying
flora, fauna the life on the planet is not in conformity with
cosmic energy of universe & in the long run it harms human&
all living creatures on the earth. In astrology concerned with
the movement of planets & it’s effect on the human life,
this knowledge is made available.
Astrology in fact has a much wider dimension. It relates of the
mechanics of nature’s energy cycle. The astrological chart
for that matter is a graphical reflection of the energy pattern
available at a given point of time. The energies made available
by the sun and all other cosmic bodies do not simply regulate
our weather cycle. Every particular source in nature transmits
radiation of a particular type with a specific wavelength and
frequency received by a particular corresponding point, as we
are all aware administers set functions of our body, mind and
psyche. So, these energies would thereby exercise influence on
all aspects of our lives.
Even
in mundane terms, the chart corresponding to the exact moment
when the Sun enters the sign Capricorn carries relevance in the
Indian context for the year to follow. The chart for this year
speaks of heightened economic activities because of Mercury and
Venus together in the 2nd house. But the sun in direct opposition
to Saturn, both locked in adverse formation with Rahu and Ketu,
are indicative of difficulties ahead with the Government particularly
in the months of April and July.
