This is our second newsletter, the first already sent in February.

Seek help of stars to succeed in law
http://indiatoday.intoday.in/site/Story/94484/India/Seek+help+of+stars+to+succeed+in+law.html
How does one become a better lawyer? Obviously by studying hard and honing ones skills to look beyond the obvious.
But if you are a student of the Lucknow-based Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University (RMLNLU), chances are you would need something more. And it has got nothing to do with personal skills, but more with the planets.

ARE 13 AND 26 A CURSE OR MERELY A DESTINY?

Is it merely a coincidence or some malefic impact of planetary movements resulting into losses of innocent lives on 13th or 26thday of some months in recent years? If we make a survey, we will find that most of the terrorist attacks were on either 13th or on 26thday of months itself.

Those who believe in astrology have had their belief that it is due to malefic impact of planetary movements, while investigators are of opinion that terror attacks on particular dates may be signature of terrorists, and it is nothing to do with stars or any astrological phenomenon.

But investigators accept it that the dates of strikes are more or less always 13 or 26 of month.

The 13th day of month

· February 13, 2010: Bomb blast at German Bakery (darsh amavaasyaa)

· December 13, 2001: Parliament attack

· July 13, 2002: Terrorists strike in Rajiv Nagar in Jammu killing 28 people.

· March 13, 2003: Mulund Train Blast killing 12 persons

· May 13, 2008: Jaipur Blast killing

· September 13, 2008: Serial Blast in Delhi

The 26th day of month

· May 26, 2007: Blasts in Guwahati

· July 26, 2008: Ahmadabad Blasts killing 56

· November 26, 2008: Mumbai attack

Significance of 13 and 26 in astrology

Astrologists are of opinion that 13 is undoubtedly an unlucky Number. By adding one and three (1+3 = 4), four arrives, which is considered as a Rahu number as per Indian Numerology.
13 is also regarded as malefic planet in Western numerology. It is said to symbolize death and destruction.
While, 26 is considered as unlucky. When we add two and six, the outcome is eight which symbolizes destiny and destruction as per Western numerology.

Besides terrorists strikes, December 26, 2004 witnessed Tsunami and Gujarat earthquakes hit on January 26, 2001.

Why so? Think for a while! For how many times, such a coincidence takes place, or we are destined to it, just think over it and write to us…….

ASTROLOGERS MEET IN BOSTON FOR INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

Financial consultants, academics, historians, researchers, and therapists are just a small cross-section of the hundreds of astrologers who will congregate in at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Cambridge MA., from Feb 24 to March 01, 2010.
The seminar titled, “Planetary Revolution: Geometry Alchemy II” will host presentation of papers by big shots of their field. This will be sponsored by the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR), an international non-profit organization with more than 2000 members worldwide. (It's Boston Chapter has approximately 250 members.)
What all these people have in common is their belief that economic and historical trends and cycles occur in tandem with celestial phenomena such as eclipses, planetary movements, sunspots, etc.
Not to say, astrology now a day plays a significant role in almost every sphere of life. This extravaganza will also occasion us to see eminent financial astrologers like Arch Crawford, Grace Morris and others like them.

PIL FILED AGAINST ASTROLOGERS

In Bombay High Court, a Mumbai based NGO Janhit Manch, filed a PIL in Bombay High Court, questioning validity of predictions by well known astrologers like Bejan Daruwalla and others.

Taking cognizance of this PIL, a division bench of Justice FI Rebello and Justice JH Bhatia issued direction to the Union government, Maharashtra government and DGP of Maharashtra to file affidavits regarding the numbers of cases registered by the authorities under The Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954.
Bejan Daruwallah and another astrologer Brahmarshi were also issued notices to file their replies within four weeks.
Hearing the submissions, Justice Rebello remarked: “It is difficult to understand how wearing a stone on a finger can change one’s fate! But astrology is a science and that has been accepted by the Supreme Court.”
Representing the Union government, advocate Advait Sethna told the High Court that even the SC had accepted that astrology was a science and many universities had included it as a subject. “Science, which is 4,800 years old, cannot be banned,” Sethna argued.
The PIL urged the authorities to ban articles, advertisements, episodes and practices promoting astrology and its related subjects like vastu, reiki, feng shui, tarot, palmistry, zodiac signs and rashifal.

Of course, some people are greatly upset about predictions made by some astrologers and a PIL has been filed. But this is against the individual and would perhaps prove how some unprofessional persons are indulging is wrong-doing. But the fact is that India’s highest judicial authority, Supreme Court, has acknowledged it as a Science.
Our expert, Mrs. Kaushal Gupta, herself a MSc (Physics) and a Gold Medalist from DU has left her banker’s career in search of this thousands’ years old Science. We assure you that our predictions are based on Scientific Calculations and with full of scientific vigour……We may also go wrong. But we also draw a lesson, accept our mistake and improve.

SOUTH DAKOTA PASSES RESOLUTION TELLING SCHOOLS TO TEACH 'ASTROLOGICAL' THEORIES OF GLOBAL WARMING

In South Dakota, the legislators have passed a resolution that urges school to stop teaching global climate change as hard science, and instead pair it with astrological and cosmological theories - - much like the way creationists insist evolution is taught alongside biblical interpretations.
Think Progress reports that, “The South Dakota House of Representatives passed a resolution to urge public schools to teach astrology. By a 36-30 vote, the legislators passed House Concurrent Resolution 1009, Calling for balanced teaching of global warming in the public schools of South Dakota”.
In the report, the legislators cited long-overturned myths like global cooling, and referred to CO2 as "the gas of life" as a basis for their rationale. It concluded that global warming should be taught only as "scientific theory rather than proven fact." But that's not all--it included an outline of how exactly the teaching of climate change could be remedied.

HERE'S THE RESOLUTION ITSELF:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the House of Representatives of the Eighty-fifth Legislature of the State of South Dakota, the Senate concurring therein, that the South Dakota Legislature urges that instruction in the public schools relating to global warming include the following:
(1) That global warming is a scientific theory rather than a proven fact;
(2) That there are a variety of climatological, meteorological, astrological, thermological, cosmological, and ecological dynamics that can effect [sic] world weather phenomena and that the significance and interrelativity of these factors is largely speculative; and
(3) That the debate on global warming has subsumed political and philosophical viewpoints which have complicated and prejudiced the scientific investigation of global warming phenomena; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Legislature urges that all instruction on the theory of global warming be appropriate to the age and academic development of the student and to the prevailing classroom circumstances.

Kind attention viewers: Making a prediction about the share market movement is most risky one and most have burnt their fingers. Therefore, we at www.astrodaily.com always refrain from doing so. However, some of the publications and journals continue to do so. We are giving you the highlights of some of them for your ready reference

SHARE MARKET PREDICTION BY CHRISTOPHER KEVILL

Christopher Kevill (famous astrologer) made his latest prediction on February 27, 2010. He says, “In Mumbai, investors reacted favourably to the tax relief in Friday's union budget as prices rose by 2% on the week. The Nifty edged towards 5000 at midday Friday before closing at 4922 while the Sensex stood at 16,429. This outcome was more or less in keeping with last week's comments since I had suggested that the early part of the week would be weaker with strength returning by Friday. In New York, Monday and Tuesday were both down days after which the bulls again took the S&P back above 1100 for the rest of the week, albeit including Thursday's morning shake out. Mumbai reflected the bullish bias of Friday's Sun-Jupiter conjunction more closely as Indian markets moved higher after trading in a narrow range in the lead up to the budget”.
He is also of the view that there is a potential for significance and sudden gains. According to him, bulls will have their control over this week.

PREDICTION OF CHINESE ASTROLOGERS

But as per Chinese astrological calculations, which were published in the Business Line on February 13, 2010 -- “February 14 has already marked the start of a Metal Tiger year, more commonly known as the “Golden Tiger”. It will also be more antagonistic."Tigers can be volatile at the best of times, and this year's yang influence coming on top of the inherent conflict between the ruling metal and wood elements (the Tiger being a wood sign) means we are in for a mighty interesting 12 months".
The last Golden Tiger Year was 1950 which saw significant grow in the Dow Jones Industrial Average.
The CLSA report says that March will be in a dual trend. However, it predicts that there will be surge in shares in April 2010 while they are bound to decline in May 2010.
If they swing in positive direction in June, there will be dip in the share markets in July and August. But the Business Line article assures investors not to panic as thereafter the share market will run like a tiger and September onwards, there will be great journey upwards.
The article says thisyear will also be positive for the earthbound metal industries obviously liked to tiger’s "wood" sign, including textiles and pharmaceuticals. "Fire" and "earth" trades - such as technology, power, property and telecommunications - are also lined up for a promising year.
The article also says that there will be tough time ahead for Industries governed by the "water" sign and they will not fare as well and a bad prognostic for the shipping, logistics, airlines, auto and transport sectors.

(If you want to know how this Tiger Year will affect you, your business, job, career, then just send your date, time and place of birth….. Contact us)

We are also giving another view from STAR TELLER magazine in which the author Shri R C Thakkar says that the Inter-planetary relationships prevailing during the month of March 2010 indicate that the market will remain in bull trend.
As per his prediction, this month will mostly be opened with Bull’s trend.
Chemical, Pharma, Jewellary, Hotel, Diamond, Sugar, Iron, Cement and Machinery will decline on March 05. March 09 specify dual trend in all sectors but normal improve at close. March 19 and 22, are not good for those who deals in luxurious items.

As per prediction, March 02, 04, 11, 18 and 29, 30, 31st are supposed to be Bulls day. All sectors will rise on these days.

Astrologer counsel Noida schoolkids.
By Kapil Datta (hindustantimes.com)

Noida: Can astrology help students cope with stress?
Some schools in Noida think so.

And on Tuesday, Marigold Public School put this belief into practice by inviting astrologers to counsel students based on their horoscopes.

The workshop was organised in the school premises by Chennai-based Indian Council of Astrological Sciences (ICAS).

The result: Class IX student Priya Joshi is convinced chanting mantras is the answer to stress.

"Horoscope can tell the strengths and weaknesses of a student. It can help in making the right career decision," said Pradeep Chaturvedi, chairman of the Noida chapter of ICAS.

For Principal V.K. Sharda, there is a connection between a student's chosen stream and the alignment of his or her stars. "With the help of astrology, students can select subjects and subsequently a career they're meant for," said Sharda.

Other schools like Noida's Rockwood have shown interest in astrologers too.

But not everyone agrees.

"Won't it add to a child's stress if the astrologer suggests a stream he or she doesn't want to pursue?
Schools and parents should not use such irrational means for something as important as a child's future" said Abdul Mabood, director of NGO Snehi.
