According to my trusted source of information, R.K. Aggarwal, he was born on 25th july, 1929 at 9:00 a.m. in Tejpur (Assam) . Comparing this horoscope with some of the well-known events about Somnath Chatterjee the horoscope seems to be correct. If the given time of birth is not correct, Somnath Chatterjee is requested to deny it.

It is learnt that the Left has build a great pressure on UPA to support Somnath Chatterjee for the position of President in the ensuing election.

According to the above horoscope in the main period of Venus the Saturn sub-period has started from 14th May 2006 & will operate up to 14th July 2009. Earlier his Saturn sub-period in the main period of Mercury operated from 8th November 1983 to 14th July 1986. In this period he was defeated by Mamta Benarjee for the first time in the Lok Sabha election from Jadavpur constituency. In a way Saturn is a yoga karaka planet being the lord of the 9th and 10th house from the 9th house but the Saturn is retrograde and aspected by Rahu and Pluto. In the Navamsa chart Saturn is debilitated in the house of Mars, which is deposited, is in the 8th house. It is aspected by Uranus. In the Navamsa chart Saturn does not enjoy the aspect on any benefic planet though being in the 3rd house from Moon it is quite powerful to accept such challenges.

In the Dasamsa chart Saturn is in the 7th house conjoined with Rahu and aspected by Jupiter and Neptune. 7th house may be favorable for Saturn disposition but in the Dasamsa chart ascendant is a Mutable Rashi. In cases of mutable ascendant the seventh house becomes highly inauspicious. Thus Saturn deposited in the seventh house in this case becomes unfavorable besides being aspected by the lord of unfavorable house Jupiter and unfavorable planet Neptune and is conjoined with unfavorable Rahu. Nothing good seems to help Saturn in the Dasamsa chart, the chart for career. The natural outcome was a defeat in the Lok “Sabha election in 1984 at the hands of Mamta Benarjee in Saturn earlier sub-period. In fact, at the time of his 1984 defeat Saturn could not help him in 1984 how can Saturn help him when Saturn will be transition the Rashi of its deadly enemy Sun. Even now when the sub-period of Saturn has started nothing seems to be going will. He has been accused by his earlier opponent Mamta Benarjee who had defeated him in Lok Sabha election in 1984.

He has been accused of holding an office of profit which was an offence and he may have been disqualified. The Parliament has enacted a law, which helps him from the retrospective effect to escape disqualification. While enacting the law in a hurry the Parliament has ignored the constitutional requirement of JPC and the further constitutional provision of limiting numbers of MPs to become Ministers to the fixed numbers The Act has been challenged in the Court of Law and is sub-judice.

India’s horoscope shows major setback to a number of MPs before the time of the election of the President. This will be analyzed in the coming issues.

If the power of the Saturn in his horoscope is to be believed and the figure of Mamta Benarjee and her earlier astounding success is to be dept in mind, it may be possible that he may suffer in his present position in some way. Even if it does not happen, the election to the post of President is to be held within his Saturn sub-period where Saturn is likely to replay its prowess.

It, therefore, does not seem to be possible that he can become the President of India in Saturn sub-period. Saturn has the capacity and inclination to make him accept the challenge and get defeated.

The ascendant lord Jupiter is in the 3rd house of the horoscope and 4th house in bhava chart, in second house in the Navamsa chart and in the 11th house in the Dasamsa chart is highly favorable factor for occupation of such a high position. The yoga karaka planet for this horoscope is Mars, which is Vargottam and placed in the second house in the horoscope, tenth house in Navamsa chart and 6th house in the Dasamsa chart. These factors are also exceedingly favorable for rise to any such position.

At present he is under the operation of Rahu sub-period in the main period of Mercury. Rahu, Mercury, Neptune and Sun conjoined in the 7th house in the Bhava chart are not helpful factors. In fact, recently the Supreme Court has set aside the order under which he had reduced the punishment to a Congress leader given by the judiciary, under his discretionary power. The Rahu period will operate upto 27th September 2007 and the process of electing the President is to be completed before 17th July 2007. Rahu period is still on and needs more cautious approach in career. The Jupiter sub period which is highly favorable as stated above will operate from 27th September 2007 to 2nd July 2010. During Jupiter sub-period despite Saturn transiting over his natal Sun he is likely to be elevated to a position of great power in the national governance. It could be more than that of a Minister.

The movement of planets particularly between 12th March to 22nd April, 2005, gives an indication that the UPA will become more assertive, intolerant and will not hesitate to take any forceful measure to achieve its objectives. This will annoy and anger the people and the UPA will not hesitate to take any deterrent measure to enforce discipline of its choice. It is likely to become a rule by force and authority and make efforts to destroy the Opposition.

Several allies of the UPA are likely to desert and join or support NDA in this period. The NDA’s horoscope designed six years ago is excellent and is far more powerful than UPA at this juncture. The NDA is likely to rise to the occasion and expand. The government will be under serious trouble and may not even survive.

I had predicted earlier and I predict again that there may be military operations within about one month from 10th March, 05. Looking into the above minute details and recent events of governance, it is possible that military operations may be undertaken to enforce national discipline, reduce corruption, build up greater security besides military operation on the borders or against the militants.

These stern measures may be against the wrong doers and not necessarily against the law abiding people but the planets are determined to bring about some sort of military operations which may be to protect the national security and unity.
